Cinquantino Primitivo, IGP

Sampietrana

68 Vignaioli is named after the group of 68 progressive grape growers who in 1952 created Cantina Sampietrana.  The winery is located in the Salento area of Puglia (the “heel” of the Italian boot). The Cinquantino 50cc scooter is an Italian classic.  Another classic is this Primitivo from Cantina Sampietrana.  Often linked to Zinfandel, this difficult to grow grape is suited to the hot and dry Puglia climate.
