ALANO ROSA, VINO SPUMANTE BRUT ROSÉ
Azienda Agricola Valdinera

Located in the heart of Piedmont near the city of Alba, the Valdinera estate has been farmed by the Careglio family for four generations.  At present, it consists of about 41 acres of which 22 are vineyards. Currently, “Beppe” Careglio grows Arneis, Barbera, Favorita, and, of course, Nebbiolo.

Uncertified Organic Wine (Producer states they do not use artificial fertilizers, herbicides or pesticides. While we cannot prove the veracity of this, we also have no reason to believe it is not true.)

The wine is named Alano Rosa, to honor the pink Great Dane-- Rosa, pictured on the front label.

Tasting notes: Made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes, this delicate wine has fine-persistent perlage. It impresses the nose with a nuance of tart cherries and is delightfully soft and fresh in the mouth.
