"SENTITO," CROATINA, PROVINCIA DI PAVIA, IGT, 2010
TENUTA MAGGIORE

Oltrepo-Pavesi was the name first given to this area of the Province of Pavia, in Lombardy where this wine comes from.  The area is “Oltre” beyond the Po River when considered from the provincial city of Pavia. The Oltrepo-Pavesi, with its beautiful micro-climate influenced by the proximity of the Po River, is bordered by Piedmont, Liguria and Emilia Romagna.

Croatina, also know locally as “Bonarda” is one of the most grown variety of grape in this region.

The picture on the label of our Croatina, is Bacchus, the mythical Roman God of wine. Here he shows the social and beneficial influences of having great wine.
