"SENTITO," CORTESE, PROVINCIA DI PAVIA, IGT, 2005
TENUTA MAGGIORE

About the label:
The picture on the label is Bacchus, the mythical Roman God of wine. Here he shows the social and beneficial influences of having great wine.

"Sentito" means "heartfelt" as this producer worked hard to produce this unique wine.

This comes from Lombardy’s Oltrepo Pavese, literally “other side of the Po River from Pavia”. It is bordered by Piedmont, Liguria and Emilia-Romagna. The area makes some wonderful wines that often don’t get the attention they truly deserve.

From the same producer that makes the Croatina, we present for the first time their Cortese. It is the way a Cortese should be; bright, fresh, crisp citrusy fruit with a hint of honeysuckle. It contains 85% Cortese, to which 15% Riesling Italico is added
– a classic Oltrepo Pavese touch.
