This luscious Moscato is made at the Rivetti Massimo winery, located in
Nieve. The grapes, grown on one of three vineyards owned by the
winery, are from the hills of lower Langa in the heart of Piedmont.
The Massimo Rivetti winery has about 50 acres of planted
vineyards -- Garassino in Mango, La Palazzina in Alba and the oldest with
vines up to 50 years old, Froi in Nieve. It is from this prime
vineyard we get this golden yellow "Drink of the Gods".
Tasting Notes: Unctuously sweet, delightfully fizzy, this wonderful Moscato is made from partially fermented juice, making the wine big, full and rich in body. |
