"SELVA DEL MORO", TOSCANA, IGT 2009
  Fattoria Campoperi s.r.l

The 380-acre property of Fattoria Camporeri is located in the hills of Castellina in the province of Chianti. Their 90-acre vineyard includes Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.

The wine’s name, "Selva del Moro", translates as "Forest of the Stranger", which is reflected in the forest stag on the label.

Tasting Notes: This is a "Super Tuscan" without the "super" price. This straightforward, honest wine is packed with ripe, dark-berry aromas and flavors, all intermingled with a hint of earthiness.
