Ronchi
Lugo is part of one of the largest cooperatives in northern Italy. This cooperative,
Agrintesa, is located in an important agricultural area in the eastern part of
Emilia-Romagna. The wine is bottled by Cantine Ronchi in Lugo close to the
historic town of Ravenna.
The origins of the name Cagnina remains shrouded in mystery, but this wine has been made since the 13th century exclusively in the Emilia-Romagna Region, just south of Venice, in Italy. "Dolce Donna," means "Beautiful Woman" in Italian. The name is also a play on words, as “Dolce” also means “Sweet”, making this wine a sweet, beautiful pleasure. Tasting notes: Pleasantly sweet, the berry aromas and flavors of Dolce Donna are impossible to resist. Low in alcohol, this is a fun and easy to drink red wine for those who prefer their wines “off dry”. |
