ASOLO ”GASPARETTO” PROSECCO SUPERIORE, DOCG
Azienda Agricola Rive Della Chiesa

This Prosecco Superiore is from the hills of the famed terroir of Asolo.  The vineyard, Rive della Chiesa, is located in Volpago del Montello, at an altitude of 250 meters above sea-level, and is named after a small local church. The Gasparetto family, who own the vineyard, and after whom this prosecco is named, chooses the finest Glera grapes for this sparkling wine.  This affords this prosecco the designation DOCG (Denominazione de Origine Controllata e Guarantia), reserved for the highest quality italian wines.

Tasting notes: The Prosecco is made from 100% Glera grapes.  The wine has a fine perlage, and is a straw yellow color, with hints of green.  Intensely fruity on the nose, with green apple, grapefruit, and honey. The taste is fresh, with pleasant acidity.
